The Start 101

The Start 101 is an introductory course that provides an overview of the key concepts and issues related to DEI from the lens of Bridging Legacies Across Campuses.

The course will cover the "North Star" principle, which is a guiding principle for creating a more inclusive and equitable society. Additionally, the course will delve into the history of desegregation and its ongoing impact on marginalized communities. 

Various key terms will also be discussed and defined. This course provides a foundation for further learning and understanding of DEI and its importance in today's world.
